Spreaders, sprays, curtain coaters, and foam systems all benefit from utilizing flow meters. Max’s positive displacement meters are ideal for precision measurement of liquid adhesives because of their ability to manage ultra-low flow volumes, giving the operator insight to the slightest variations within their systems. Max meters also perform well under start-stop conditions without the need for recalibration.

Max offers products with high temperature limits, suitable for measuring hot melt adhesives. Max also offers an optional heater block that can be used on the flow meter to keep it at operating temperature during standby conditions.

Max meters are ideal in the manufacturing of: plywood, structural flake boards, particle boards, fiberboards, structural framing and timbers, architectural door assembly, factory-laminated panels, and any other machine processes requiring adhesives batched in precision quantities. Though resins, waxes and glues can vary in viscosity across applications, Max meters perform well across the full range of industrial adhesives.

Max meters can be used in the blending and post blending process to ensure that the appropriate quantity is dispensed per ply. The ability to monitor glue, while it is applied, ensures the moisture content stays within the ideal range. This is a situation where "more is better" is definitely not true. Controling the glue also controls the moisture content. And staying within the allowable percentage range is widely considered the most essential factor in managing quality output in composite wood manufacturing.
